Youth Alcohol and Drug Service (YADS) – North West and West Coast - Burnie

The Youth Alcohol & Drug Service (YADS) provides a broad range of alcohol and other drug treatment and support services, health promotion and early intervention initiatives aimed primarily at young people 12- 24 years, their families and significant others throughout the NW and West Coast of Tasmania.

Services also include:

• Illicit Drug Diversion Initiative (IDDI) and Tasmanian Early Intervention and Prevention (TEIP) Brief Intervention and Counselling
• School Drug Education and Health Promotion Programs
• Community and Other Services Education and Health Promotion Programs
• Outreach - either a neutral site, at the client’s home or via digital technology to clients who cannot access on-site services
